Capel DI626 Dishwasher not heating.

Hi,

I wa just wondering if anybody has worked on one of these with regularity. They are probably a rebadged Turkish or Chinese machine I know but the customer has just called to say the machine is going through the cycle without heating.
Now on most machines if the heater had gone it would wash and wash all day or flash up an error code. Usually if it ends the programme as normal but just doesn’t heat its the PCB. Is this the correct assumption on this. Its just for a heads up, i’m going to take a look tomorrow.

This seems to have a water pressure switch assy which are prone to failure on the CDA badged ones. This will stop the heat but it will complete the cycle.

Part is 674010020008 if it’s required

I managed to squeeze the job in today to take a look and the heater is definately open circuit, so I’ve got one on the way. Is it a straight forward job? Looking at it I’ll probably have to remove the right side and move the pcb out of the way, then it looks like it’s just screwed in.
I’ve never done one before and god knows why it completes a cycle!!!
