Caple C811C Touch Control Hob

Customer had a problem with the touch control – reported as “Hob will not work using touch controls”.
On site, customer said that it would work when controls touched but only if he put a piece of paper on the end of his finger and touched the control through it !!
Fitted a new PCB assembly (job 60 miles from base) and problem was resolved. Customer rang back next day to say problem was back!!. PCB assembly includes power and touch control boards so nowhere to go.

Any suggestions (other than sending the customer some more paper for his finger!!!) most welcome.
