Hi, just been out as a favour for an estate agents I do work for to have a quick look at a Caple fridge freezer ri731. I don’t do refridgeration but i used to repair the older ones some years ago.. I went armed hoping it was just going to be a vl9 or similar but it’s a pcb version and sensor type machine. The freezer is fine but the whole of the fridge backplate is icing up thickly over a few days, looks like its just running constantly.
I presume it’s going to be a pcb fault but could equally be a sensor, but at £80 for a pcb, I don’t want to get it wrong. If anybody can give me any help who is a bit more clued up to these machines than me, it would be really appreciated.
