Hi! My Caple DI452 (Type 12150) is having some issues. Starts cycle just fine, but about 3-4 mins in it beeps, drains and stops. The SOAK, DELICATE and BIO lights are flashing on the console and the INTENSIVE light is on permanently. Don’t know if it’s related, but when I press and hold the program select button the NORMAL and INTENSIVE lights then flash. I have checked the manual and there is no reference to either combination of lights in the troubleshooting section.
I have pulled and cleaned the filter (no significant debris) played around with the supply and drain hoses as i have had trouble in the past with them becoming kinked an cutting off the water supply.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: caple problem

I think this is made by Smeg (fully integrated slimline ?)

From the left counting the lights 1-5 or 1-4 can you let us know which are flashing and which are on ?

    Dave.

    Hi Dave,

It is a fully integrated slimline, and after it has stopped, lights 1, 2 and 3 are flashing and 5 is on permanently. After depressing the prog select button for a few seconds just lights 4 and 5 are flashing, the rest are extinguished.
    Cheers

    Re: caple problem

    Smeg E7 error then 😉

Try the reset which normally works:

Open the door with the power switch off. Switch on and press the start/pause button 4 times within 3 seconds, power off.

If that doesn’t work (try it a few times) the there is a fault with the water inlet/level system, engineer time then to be honest.

Check the repairs@ link below if you need one 🙂

    Dave.

Thanks for the info Dave, tried the reset several times but no joy. I’ll give an engineer a call.
    Cheers
