went to this machine. fault reported was on tumble dryer clothes got hot and steamy but no dry. found as expected no water going in. was told at this point landlord had someone else out who replaced main pcb and it did not cure it so took it out again.
checked valve ok. took out board and inspected for any visual probs and there where none. to cut a long story short found if I replaced wash heater ntc with the hotpoint one in my bag it worked so assumed stat and ordered. stat ordered Qualtex part no L36P002l5
(came in fagor bag part no L36P004l1)

fitted stat and still got same problem, also found machine not heating on wash, have even checked for 12v on heater relay in case thats blown but detected no energising voltage.

found 1 work around for dryer. If you set the programme and atarted it, then switched off at the socket for 10 secs and turned on the water started to flow but would not unless you did this

can anyone confirm ntc is correct one it has quite a high resistance ( 60k or so room temp) compared to the hotpoint so I assume thats why the hotpoint one works

anyone any more ideas I am out for mo
