Have been using streamline for the last four months its great no more running to the bank with a weeks worth of cheques to wait five days for them to clear Used every day its a constant cash drip into my account.

My customers are surprised and delighted that they can pay me by card in their own home. Many are gobsmacked at the technology.
Very often though they are poised with cheque-book and pen once the job is sorted. I subtly inform them I no longer take cheques because I then have to take their cheque to my bank along with all the paperwork that entails. Whereas I’ve brought my bank along with me…. my GPRS terminal IS my bank….key in your PIN and press the green button…thanks very much! 😀

so many ask me what am I going to do when they “phase out cheques”. I politley say that I have taken cards for over 10 years anyway, had a mobile terminal for 5+ years and that they are not going to phase out cheques anytime soon anyway! Somehow they are surprised that I have the techonogy, as Martin said. All this conversation is of course going on while hubby searches the house for his goddamn cheque book!
