Care 4 to cease trading

Sadly the Care 4 agents will have recieved a letter today notifying us that Care 4 will cease trading at the end of July.

The reasons given are “forthcoming regulatory change and a devaluing repair market caused by reduced consumer electronics prices”

A sad state of affairs indeed 😥

I’d like to wish Alan Chant and his staff all the very best in whichever avenue they choose with their future careers.

All Care4 agents should have received a pack from:

Home Hotline, The Unicentre. PRESTON PR1 1DH 0870-6002415.
Contact name, Steve Hammond.

Interested parties will need an application form supported by copies of Vat, Liability Ins. & CORGI if applicable. Get this, they ask you what your charges are. Anyone interested I suggest you give them a call.

Existing Insurance work as the old Co-op policies will be undertaken by London General and Home Hotline dealing with the rest.

I hope Alan Chant from Care4 stays in this industry, as he is one of lifes gentlemen.

Just caught up with this thread and I am also sorry to hear the news.
I worked for CRS when Alan was the audio and photographic buyer,
before he moved across to Care 4. I can honestly say that on the times that we have met he has been an absolute gent. I too hope he stays in the industry. People like him are very rare in this day and age.
