I have a Carlton Semi-Intergrated Dishwasher model no – CSI1S. Over the past couple of weeks it has started to stick on the drain part of the cycle, reseting the program doesn’t work, the pump just keeps on going.

I have read a couple of other posts from people who have similar problems, I have tried to reset the temp trip switch, this worked the first time, at least I think it did I turned it a few times and it seemed to work. But this second time nothing is really having any effect.

There are dark patches on the element which tend to suggest over heating; but again this has never seemed to cause a problem before.

I need to fix this quickly and can only really see 3 possible obvious fault areas on the circuit diagram 1. temperature Limiter 2. 50C Temperature controller or 3. the overflow switch.

The overheating cut off is a small plastic push type switch that goes into the housing in the base of the washer, it turns CW and CCW and moves in and out, I’ve sat there twiddling this bloody thing for ages how do I know its reset? It just keeps spinning.

Any help at all would be great,

PS yes I have been using 3 in 1, before I could change to powder it tripped again, 😥
