I have a Carron Cordon Bleu 4 cooker, Serial No. 41881. The spring clip that holds together the rollers in one of the door catches has broken. Can anyone supply a spring clip, or, failing that, a door catch unit? Thanks.

P.S. I’ve just discovered an old letter which may help: it suggests that, way back in 1994, Cannon Industries could apparently supply the Door Catch under Part No. 019600761.

Hi there. I’m also after some parts for a Carron Cordon Bleu 4 gas cooker, specifialy the 8″ square saucepan support “thingies” that sit on top of the gas rings. They are held in place on the cooker top by two holes, one on each side of the square.

I have tracked down two people who are selling these cookers, one in London and the other in Livingston and have put in calls to both. I live in London and, if I manage to buy the one in my area (assuming its “thingies” is the one I want) I would be happy to let you have first pick of the rest of the cooker in terms of spares.

All that I’d ask is a small contribution to the cost of the cooker, plus p&p (at on inflated Royal Mail prices) and, if the guy wants me to dispose of the cooker, help towards the cost of that.

I’m afraid I don’t know the serial numbers, but I would imagine that most of the parts for that specific model are interchangeable. I’m willing to take pics and post them/send them to an appropiate address.

    Hope this helps,

    Nic
