    Connect brushes cbn2222
If you compare the brass end peice on those brushes you will find the ones coming through now are not as wide and pop out unless you bend in the bit on the motor, why have they changed them.
I have been using those brushes for decades I have tried other cheap brushes but they can arc and cause call backs.
    Cbn 2222 are £2

using the Qualtex ones but I have to take the rear edge off them with sandpaper before I fit them
always test them to make sure then advise customer to use lower spin speeds and don’t fill full of towels for at least 10 washes

    Re: Cbn2222 brushes size changed

I have never had to tell customers they cannot wash towels
For a few weeks or use lower spin speeds and never had call backs
I just tell them it will sound different for a couple of washes.
Are they the economy brushes at £1.25 car93 or the better ones at £3.70 car137?

    Re: Cbn2222 brushes size changed

never use the economy one but I think all the cheaper brushes seem to have the wrong angle

also don’t tell customers they cant wash towels just don’t do them all at once ( ie keep loads and current down while it beds in). Most cases it would not matter but with some brushes I have had to run the spin, remove and alter brush with emery and replace brush to stop excessive sparking.

come back the days when most pattern brushes were Morganite and cooker elements were Backer

Simple solution is to use a com stick to bed brushes in on motor and qualtex pattern brushes are a waste of time the cbn2222 are the only pattern brush I purchase I only use genuine rather customer not call me back in a year for same fault by using pattern parts.
