CDA 492 – dishwasher won’t stop filling up

Hi

We have a CDA 492 dishwasher. When we put it on programme, it drains and then begins to fill up. Both the draining and filling up seems to be intermittent with the power light (on – off – on – off). The machine doesn’t seems to stop filling up.

We have cleaned the black filter with washing up liquid and hot water and flushed a lot of hot water through the system but this doesn’t seem to have made any difference.

I’m no expert but it sounds like the machine has had it. What do you think?

Pretty classic PCB failure – around £100 last time I checked.

Not what we wanted to hear but thanks for that. 🙁

Weren’t planning on having a new kitchen (with new dishwasher) for 18 months or so. Bit of an expensive repair so will probably do it the old fashioned way in the meantime.

The dishwasher was given to us by a friend and is well past it’s sell by date but thanks anyway Bryan.
