Aaaaaargh!
Long story involving engineers deciding that the heater wasn’t working, and subsequent engineer blaming use of powder rather than tablets, but, intermittent fault remains and refuses to fill cempletely at all.
Having found your very helpful forums, I’ve done all the recommended checks:
No kinks or blockages; Water supply OK; cleaned pbc contacts (though they seemed OK) and pinched connector to fill matrix.
Water can be seen flowing into the chamber, and the flow wheel is spinning, but the machine still decides it has a problem.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to get a new fill matrix.
I assume that the little PCB is the reed switch – does the new matrix come with a PCB?
Is it possible to get just the PCB and is this worth trying first?
Does the matrix does pull up and out from the side of the machine? I had a tentative pull when the machine was last open, but it seemed fairly securely attached.
Thanks.
