    Any help appreciated. CDA dishwasher 496 showing error code 4 flashes. Will not drain. Replaced pump with new part from whitegoods still the same. Hose connected and clear, Wiring seems OK.

    There are at least three iterations of that model that I can see but I think that they are all Whirlpool made dishwashers.

    F4 is what it is if there’s four flashes. Not draining error most likely.

    Replaced with Siemens Dishwasher, easy to install and so quiet.
    The CDA/ Whirlpool on inspection had damaged wiring where the wires went through the door with no protection. Surely this is just an accident waiting to happen as several wires are together including an earth wire. The bottom of the door is razor sharp. Thanks for help. :rolls:
