ParticipantI have been back and forwards to this one a few times now, originally checked the fault code out to be not draining (though I can not find where I got that info from now :rolls: ) I replaced the water pump which, and everything was ok. About three months later I was called back to the machine for the same fault, the pump was ok, so checked the pressure system, and I did detect some initial resistance when blowing down the pressure pipe but when I inspected the pressure chamber there was no goop in there. Ran the machine and it appeared to be fine. One month later and I have been back again today, I can not find anything out of the ordinary.
The customer has said that this is an intermittent fault, and that sometimes it works fine for a few washes. He also said that his wife can tell when it is not going to work because it sounds different?? 😕
I ran the machine through a whole wash cycle today, in the hope that it would do or not do something but behaved as it should. I checked for blockages in the sump, pump, pressure system and sink, but nothing.
Please help, I don’t know what else to look for. Or have I been barking up the wrong tree, and error E06 has nothing to do with drainage fault?
Thanks

Model is CI994 and produced by SMEG, E06 is definitely drain error code, I can send you test cycle procedures if you PM me your email.
When you cleaned the pressure system did you remove the front balance weight and tub front because that is where it get gunked up, I’ve had a few like it before where the hole for the pressure tube assembly is partially blocked giving intermittent errors with draining and filling.
It’s a bitch of a job but could be the problem 😯

😳 errm I think I may have been checking the wrong bit, I removed the plastic cylinder that connects to the sump hose.
If the pressure chamber can only be accessed by removing the front balance weight and tub front, I haven’t checked it. 😳
I can’t remember if the front panel comes off the machine, I presume it does to enable access to the front weight etc.

Yeah it goes behind the front balance weight and connects to the tub front cover, typical SMEG crazy idea :rolls:
Have sent you what I have on it 😀
