I have stripped the motor and cleaned the bearings. The motor turns the fan but it runs quite slowly on the third setting. Could the capacitor be faulty?

I am having problems with this same motor and cannot find a replacement. It was barely moving so I have managed to free it up. I am wondering if it is worth putting back in. I was going to get a new one and keep it as a spare?

as i stated above ring CDA and ask

as for putting it back well the answer is maybe

depends how well lubricated you have got it and how long this last. if its just WD40 then probably wont last long as it need to be proper light lubricant. After that its luck how long it lasts
