CDA CW447 – 10 Beeps, all lights

Brand new dishwasher, previously installed at parents but never used (maybe one test cycle?)

Set the program and close the door. It beeps 10 times and all the 6 program buttons flash.

I checked the base which is bone dry, no evidence of any previous flooding and the microswitch appears to operate.

Any recommendations short of scrapping it?

Edit: Hi Dave, it does not. I close the door and a pump-sounding noise is heard. It’s only when I open the door that the beeping starts.

ok all dishwasher pump when you close the door at the beginning of a programme

some dishwasher pump for ages before it fills

how long did you leave it before you opened it. flashing may just mean you opened the door

Hah maybe 20 seconds do I simply need to wait longer? I started to get worried that something was jammed or burning up.

I’ll give it another bash tomorrow.
