CDA CW447, beeps 10 times and left 3 lights flash?

Hello,

Just found this forum, hope someone can help! I have a fully integrated CDA CW 447, it stopped in the middle of a load today and started beeping with the left 3 lights flashing. It is still flatly refusing to do anything else, can someone tell me what the problem is please and how to solve it?

Base has flooded – flood protection activated. The undertray will need to be drained to reset the system. If there is a recurrence, the leak will have to be located.

Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

Hi Penguin45, many thanks for that. The machine has now stopped beeping, but however, all it does is power on, it’s impossible to set a programm, press the button and nothing happens? Same goes for 1/2 machine and time delay. Any ideas on that?

Look, it’s a horrible, nasty Chinese dishwasher. Nothing is going to change until you drain the tray underneath……

If you want to know what you’re up against, put ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into Search for this forum only. ‘haier AND dishwasher’ is quite fun, too.

Hi, thanks again, but I did actually drain the tray before posting last time, that’s my problem. It’s all dry no, but the program buttons are still not reacting. I am aware that it’s a crappy machine, came with the house when we bought it and we can’t really affort to get a new one, or to have it repaired for that matter as the guarantee is not transferable….. So please, any ideas now as to what I can do with a dry tray and still no programs?

Well, thanks for your help, I am glad to report that the machine, after having acted very weirdly for 24 hours has decided to work again!!!!! I don’t even want to think about how long, but with a bit of luck a few months which will give us time to save up for a good machine!
