Whirlpool-built machine, so two flashes indicates that the flood protection system has been activated. This means that water has leaked into the tray under the machine.

You need to drain the tray to reset the machine, then have a look for the leak.

Power off before removing any panel, please.

If you undo those screws, the sump will fall off………

Remove decor door (screws 2+4 on the inner door panel). Remove front lower panel to reveal the tray under the machine. Power off and mop up. Try running the machine and use a torch to keep an eye on what is happening – especially ths little horror.

You won’t get at the lower cover with the decor door in place – it laps over. Any wooden plinth in front of the machine will have to go – you are trying to get to the lowest point of the machine.
