CDA CW494 No lights constant beep

Hi

We have a CDA CW494 which is not working, none of the lights on the display come on when pressed. The only sign of life is a constant beep when we press the on switch. I think I did hear a ‘pop’ when I pushed the door closed this morning which coincided with the tripping of the MCBs in the kitchen. Since the reseting of the MCB dishwasher has not worked. Have tried changing the fuse but this makes no difference…any ideas?

First thing to check then would probably be the door microswitch.

It’s a Whirlpool built machine.
