CDA ECP62SS/1 not spinning

Morning all,

Have a customer whos hood is not working properly, Says the lights work fine and when he presses the fan on buttons it buzzes but does nothing , on speed 3 it goes round slowly but is not extracting. Would I be correct in summising it to be the capacitor as have seen this nehaviour before on motors and is usually that .

Just need a sanity check before i tell him thats the issue.

could be if its got a capacitor

you need to check

you also need to see how free the motor is to turn in case its a motor bearing problem
