    Hi Folks,

Motor goes to fast spin instantly and then cuts out after about one second and displays F08 (motor fault). Have tried spin cycle and a wash cycle at random and it did it both times.

90 ohms across tacho and ‘looks’ ok, ie it is not loose.

Removed and reattached motor terminal block and retested – no improvement.

I didn’t try removing and replacing the motor terminal to PCB, and nor did I look for a voltage at the tacho by spinning the drum. Instead, I – rather rashly – jumped to the conclusion that the module was at fault. Cannot see any damage.

Does anyone have similar experience of this? Is it a known fault on this machine? Thanks for any help

    Hi Karl25

QER have confirmed that the speed control circuitry on the control board is faulty. They have fixed it but do not have a test for it, so they’ve told me that if it doesn’t work they’ll give me a full refund. I’m fitting it week com 9th and I’ll update then.
