CDA Oven – Any views?

I am about to replace my oven with a double built under oven. I have seen the CDA CD708SS which looks good, has the functionality I’m looking for and appears reasonably price.

I’ve never heard of CDA before. Does anyone have any views about their performance, reliability and after sales service (I read somewhere that they have a 5 year warranty).

Or does the old adage apply – you get what you pay for.

Any views would be greatly appreciated.

CDA provide a 5 year parts warranty for all their appliances and we’ve always found their after sales to be friendly & efficient. That’s just for us, though; someone else may have a different experience.

We’ve not seen too many genuine faults with the CD708 in our area – most faults we’ve attended for this machine relate to poor installation or transit damage.

It’s always very hard to give advice on what to buy (unless you’re Don) because anything can break regardless of the cost or brand name. Even billion dollar space shuttles can have bits fall off.

I see from the model number that the item in question is a double built under oven of which there are not as many choices as there are built in.
Take a look at the Bosch / Neff range they are a quality appliance with a two year guarantee. They are more expensive but are well worth the extra. let us know the outcome as we always like a happy ending 😀 .

The oven that you are asking about has now been discontinued and the replacement is a CD709.

This oven is originally made by stoves for CDA and is a very reliable model,as NWAR has said majority of problems have come by installation and not actual faults of the appliance.

CDA are a well thought out company who’s after sales and services are second to none.
