Hi, this gets to end of cycle and the door stays locked until powered off. Has anyone had this, i’m assuming it’s not the door lock because the locked light is still on.

Finally went back to this because I was not convinced it was the door lock. Fitted new one and it’s the same. I’ve got another customer with a CI993 with same fault. The door lock light is still on so I’m thinking it’s either got to be program unit or some kind of strange fault with the tumble drier. Anyway I’ve got two doing it now(and two new door locks to go in my spares I’ll probably never use box). Anyone had this.

Not had that fault, but did have one with the washer heater gone made it do all sorts of strange things!!

Are you sure the machines actually have a fault?
Instruction book on page 4 states:
To open the door, turn the machine off using the ON-OFF push-button and wait about 30 seconds after switching off the warning light before turning the handle to open the door.Hope this helps

I’ve had this complaint from a new tennant for a letting agency.Looked in the instruction book and it did seem to read that the on/off button needed to be pressed, I reasoned that the previous tennant was using it that way and it did open after about a min.

I do two buildings for a letting agent with at least a hundred of these machines and never had this complaint, also never seen a machine that needs to be turned off to release door lock but there you go…live and learn. Thanks again.
