This integrated dishwasher has a strange fault. Select program, press start button and light comes on, close door, program starts, drains, fills and wash pump kicks in. Now what happens is the wash pump runs for about maximum ten seconds and then stops for a couple of seconds, it then starts again and runs fine for ten seconds then stops. It does this 5-6 times then drains and stops with four bleeps. If you open the door the start light is out and not flashing. You can then just press the start button again and the light comes on and shut the door and the program starts again but does the same thing again. It does this on all programs.
Could it be problem with wash pump causing board to cut out several times then abort?
Or more likely what I’m thinking is just the board itself faulty, I’ve changed one before on one of these with a weird fault.

    Any thoughts please?

    Thanks

wash pump cant cause this but a faulty power supply cap in the programmer might. cheap fix if it is.

    try this for clues

    Amazing!

Blocked spray arms was causing this fault.
Went back to this dishwasher armed with the info you guys gave me with a little bit of wishful thinking after Simons comment, because I remembered the spray arms being pretty blocked, but didn’t think that could cause this fault as usually you just get no rotation of arms and bad wash results. Cleaned them out and running fine now.
Would be interested to know how it knows the water isn’t flowing correctly.

    Thanks again

I remember I spent ages on it thinking a F4 not draining fault. When you said the wash pump keeps stopping and starting I remembered it. Not the same whirlpool error codes on this one.

It works by sensing the current drawn by the motor If the motor is jammed or spray arms blocked the motor will draw more current .It also uses this system for water level control
