Hi sorry if this is in the wrong section.

I’m trying to find an electric ceramic hob that will fit a granite worktop with a width of 55cm. Most of them are 56. Whirlpool did one (AKM359NE), but it’s not available anywhere.
The current one is a really old Diplomat.
    Many thanks

Have a look at the hobs on ao.com. In the technical specs there is often the cut-out size required, often in the FAQ’s.

    Hi

Or use a hand grinder with a cutting disc to grind off the extra couple of mm you require. use plenty of water else it’ll get very dusty.Ive done this without a problem as you would not be leaning on top but from within the present hole.

This one should fit without the clips 😉
