Cheap dishwasher

I know cheap and reliable don’t always mix but is this any good?

It’s Gorenge’s freestanding GS62214W dishwasher. I have one of their washing machines but wondered if their dishwashers are made with exacting standards

If not can anyone recommend any other cheap alternatives?

Good machine, comes with a two year warranty as well. Another option could be the Bosch entry level SMS40T42UK also comes with a two year warranty.

The official response is yes you can 😀

As for safety and to stop spillages from entering into the machine it is recommended that a thin plate is fitted in place of the worktop lid.

According to all the info I can find Gorenje do not produce a height reduction lid I’m afraid.

An old dishwasher door from your local recycling centre would do the trick.

Simply cut to size and fix to top of appliance.

Best deal I can find is this Bosch at AO , if your quick it should arrive in time for the festive season.

According to the spec here on the Bosch website yes it does come off.
