    I am looking for a cheap, reliable dryer that will not cost the earth to run. Perhaps these three do not mix but am looking at the following:

    http://www.appliance-world.co.uk/Gorenj … Dryer.html

    It’s Gorenje’s D71112 for £250 which is C class energy rated

    Any good? Any recommendations in a similar, £250ish, price range?

    Many thanks

    C rated dryers are costly per year to run so if that is to be considered why not choose a B or better still A rated dryer? Mind you the latter are by no means “humble” dryers price wise. 😉

    Re: Cheap humble dryer

    I have been using sust-it.com to compare running costs between driers. With my budget(£300 max)I will struggle to afford any of the A rated machines. However I did find that some £500-700 machines are comparable in running cost to their much cheaper counterparts.

    I am therefore thinking that my main concern is with finding a machine that is reliable and maintains its energy rating with age?

    Apart from the Gorenje already stated I have earmarked the following;

    1.Zanussi ZDE67560W – £267

    2.AEG T65170AV – £309

    3.Zanussi ZDE47201W – £248

    Any good? Stear clear? Alternatives?

    Thanks for any input

    I know these are not the lowest prices available for such items but the said site gives discount if purchasing three items. Nothing better than ammunition to haggle
