Just a thought as I picked up a new van today a Renault Kangoo SL17 DCi 70 from Arnold Clark in Glasgow. Β£6K plus the VAT for a brand new van can’t be that bad, so far seems a nice little van with full AA cover for 3 years, 18,000 mile service intervals and a 3 year warranty!

They do me a decent deal and a LOW interest rate because my other half works for them. πŸ˜‰ If anyone is interested in getting some prices gimme a shout as I get trade and the staff interest rate, dunno if it’s any use to any of you but it may be I guess since as usual with these things it tends to be a case of “who you know” as opposed to “what you know”.

Although that model number is mental, it’s a 1.5 diesel with 65bhp, go figure! πŸ˜•

Got to agree these new Renaults are brill. I bought a new Traffic a couple of months ago. You can sit at 110 up the motorway in sixth gear and carry on a conversation with your mate as though you were doing 30 in town. Vans have come a long way. Not before time I might add.

Another thought these vans don’t see the garage again until they hit 18000 miles and that’s for a first service. What ever happened to the 500 miles check over?

Looking at the subject of this topic, is it any surprise to anyone that both of the previous posters are Scottish πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

I’m merely trying to live up to expectation and uphold the Scots good repute. πŸ˜‰
