We are always quick to point out overpriced parts, but what about real bargains?

Try Diplomat dishwasher ADP8342 control module, p/n 0124000223 this is a large chipped module complete with the 2 indicator and push button modules and all the ribbon cable, price? £25.35 retail!
OK its a Haier but cheap makes are not normally renowned for cheap parts.

    899646223267 Dishwasher Dispenser Assy…

….. it fits dozens of AEG, Zanussi, Tricity and Electrolux models only £23.49* retail 😀

I bet Service Force don’t charge their customers that though, in fact I guarantee probably twice that 😆

So far just 2 excellent examples of fair priced replacement parts, making our job a much more realistic and viable option. 😀

There must be hundreds of similar examples we could list and possibly even shame those manufacturers who have taken the opposite stance :lesson:

Problem is that there is no one brand that has reasonable prices across the board. A Smeg fan element for example being half the cost of an electrolux EOB one, yet a Smeg ceramic ring is like 3 times that of an electrolux one. I swear manufacturers use the ‘think of a number and double it’ method of pricing spares.
