Hello all. Just found this site and spent most of the morning having a look round. Got plenty of tips on maintenance washes and stainless steel cleaners, and planning to move to Aerial washing powder in the near future!

However, what would be ideal would be a recommendation for a tumble dryer. I need to buy fairly soon and I’m happy to spend £400 to £550 and I’ve looked at Miele (pricey spares) and Bosch & Siemens & AEG (but can’t figure out if they are recommended or not). I’d prefer a condenser as venting could be an issue.

Would really appreciate if someone could recommend specific models if possible.

    Many thanks
    Gary

    Hi Gary

Those you have found are about the best out there.

Another way of looking at it is to have a look at our own ISE range of products of which there is a condenser drier 😉 The ethos behind these products and green credentials are on the website. You can purchase online as well with this link ISE 10 Condenser tumble dryer 6KG load C rated with a full ten-year warranty

The warranty is five times longer than the Bosch and Miele at ten years, but it is a little higher on budget. The spares are cheaper and service is carried out by the same person that installs it.

Thanks for the speedy response. I did see the ISE but the total cost (at £700 inc delivery) is maybe just a bit too much. That said, a 10 year guarantee is impressive! Is the price the same with all retailers or should I shop around?

Would the machine happily live outside in my lean-to (it’s not heated but it is covered)? Also, would it need any servicing? Is this included in the price? And lastly….do you know the approx delivery time?

    Thanks
    Gary

    Re: Choosing a tumble dryer

    Hi Gary

The price is a standard one hence the link, I`m pretty sure they are in stock and available for delivery. If you contact ISE on either one of these Telephone: 0845 226 1268 Fax: 0845 226 2508 or Email: enquiries@iseappliances.co.uk. Give them your postcode someone will get back to you pretty prompt with an ETA.

As long as it`s dry and secure then I se no problems at all.
