I’ve organised a little Christmas night out for UKW, most of the staff are going to be there as well as one or two of the usual suspects whenever the words “food” and especially “drink” are mentioned in the same sentence. 😉
For the first time ever this little meeting/social/jolly whatever you want to call it is being held in Scotland, on the banks of Loch Lomond no less on Saturday the 2nd of December at Lodge On Loch Lomond at Luss. The food and accomodation is excellent, well worth being there and the chance of a day or two’s respite during the silly season. Already there are a few people heading up to stay over both the Friday and Saturday nights.

What a pleasant evening that was. Good food, connvivial company, much ale and putting the world to rights; all in a stunning setting.
For those of you who came, thanks for your company. For those who didn’t, you missed a real treat.
