Christmas closing

I am I sure I read this in another thread but I can’t find it .
which day’s are people closing this year ? ,For the first time ever we are contemplating closing for the whole of the christmas week,and I was just curious what others are doing

Funnily enough we were talking about that the other day.

Quite a few of us have decided just to shut down in between, can’t be bothered to hear…

“Oh I didn’t think you’d be there!

“Na, leave it till after the New Year”

Etc. etc. 😉

This ‘Christmas Week’ should be a bumper money maker for us ‘one man bands’ who never shut……. “goodwill to all men!”……if the lights go out on their Xmas, we are there to help….at special “Festive Season Rates!” of course 😆 😆 😆

We are at half strengh over the wed,thurs and friday in between xmas and new year with both fridays being 5 calls only for the engineers who work.

Half days on the fridays , Monday and Tuesday off for Christmas ,Monday off for new year, half of staff on Holiday inbetween.

Bah Humbug. Should be a law against anything to do with Christmas before 15th December.

We are open all days except the statuatory bank holidays, but closing early Christmas eve and New-Years eve.

Why do they save it up to December every year? (New thread reqd I think)
