About five or six years ago at christmas I was called to a dishwasher which I couldn’t repair as part was out of stock until the new year I told this cust who promptly took off and in the end was demanding a loan dishwasher . I was getting all the abuse under the sun so I turned around and said look we dont do loan dishwashers but what I can do is loan you a bottle of fairy and a pair of marigolds!. The picture on her face was priceless and I was told to leave 😆 😆

Customer at our front desk this morning, have you got a seal for our Electrolux oven, these are the sizes? Puts a scrap of paper on the counter with a rough drawing of a seal and dimensions.
Ask for make & Model, and he produces another scrap with model only.. Look it up, find there are three versions, depending on serial number……
Then he come out with it… “Oh I know that,I came in a couple of months ago, and someone else told me I needed that number. So he had stood there and watched me look up all the alternatives, answer the phone & sign for parcels at the same time, then tell me what I had just told him!
So I politely ask him for the serial, and he says he can only read the first 5 digits,
“Good as I only need the first three,
“That’s what the other bloke said”.
Silly question coming up from me, “Can I have that number please”?
“Oh I haven’t got it with me, can you not measure every seal you have in stock, as we really need it for Christmas”
He then asked if I could order the alternatives, and send back what we don’t need. Believe it or not that is possible, and normally I could oblige, but considering this started a couple of months ago, and he left it until today, I sad no!
He simply didn’t get it either that they would not be here for Christmas eve.

Client today wanted 30 minutes notice before calling, rang at 11.55am to be told that her office party starts at 12 noon and can I call around 5pm. Told her no as my office party starts at 5pm and finishes around January the 5th. I put the phone down on her as she kept complaining about our lack of service and how she gonna manage with her oven not staying lit.
