Ci555 no fast spin

Have ordered a board for this as I can’t imagine it being anything else.
Machine goes through programme and first slower cycle of spin ok, but when it comes to higher speed spin there is a clicking from the board area and the spin seems to stick around 500, with every click it tries a higher speed burst for a second.
Will report further when I go back 😉

It does sound like a relay on the board may have chucked it Tony.

Fitted board yesterday and we’ve still got the fault 😥
Going back for another look in today…..b***er 😡

Fault traced to brown white wire on motor plug broken inside plug casing.
Presumably a field tap or summat. Motor turns fine on low revs but when it should ramp up for high spin keeps ‘bouncing’ speed and a relay on the board can be heard clicking. Ken, do you want the board returning?
