I have already changed half a dozen early ISE 5 drum rear halves due to motor mountings snapping off.
In the past few days I have had two with a slightly different fault which will also require new drum rear half to be fitted. 😥
The motor mountings are so badly worn that it would be impossible to tape them up to effect a repair.
Tell tale signs are loads of grey dust underneath and complaint of excessive noise.
The first one did have brushes changed about 12 months ago, the second one has not been touched until today.
