Circulating pump housing

I have a smeg DWI 710 with the circulating pump impeller housing leaking. I have removed the housing from the motor and would like to know if a replacement just slides onto the threaded shaft or has to be screwed.

first if the username is your personal email i think i would change it as you are on a public forum so anyone can see it

as for the impellor you may have anwered your own question. If as you say the shaft is threaded then it would have to screw on and sometimes with a left hand thread

Does that imply the impeller is self tightening as the motor revolves.

thats how you decide which way it unscrews as it unscrews in the same direction the motor turns
