    Hi guys.my dc14 has lost alot of suction.Motor,filter and roller belt all in good condition.looking at forums i see that the cyclone tubes can get blocked over time.My dc is 7yrs old. How do i get at the tubes to clean them out ?

    Hi

    I have heard of people taking these to their local garage and having them blown through with an airline. However I don’t know how successful this has been.

    Replacement cyclones are around the £35 mark :rolls:

    If you have good suction from the wand,but not from the base of the cleaner.. You could try checking the small clear plastic hose that runs from the side of the brushroll… Usually you will find these have a tear in them, which seriously affects suction…
