ParticipantA tip for customers
I don’t know if this has been mentioned before, but baby oil is fantastic for the job
This tip was pasted on to Goatboy senior by a customer, and he’s well impressed by it’s mircle properties. He said the brand was ‘Johnson + Johnson’ (don’t know if that makes a difference).
GB senior has lots of SS appliances, and he’s tryed all sorts of purpose-made cleaners, but as soon as they hit a little bit of grease/muck, you get huge smears. Baby oil, apparently, cleans and leaves a fantastic finish ❓
Maybe someone can confirm this? I don’t have any stainless steel stuff…
… or baby oil :baby:

True Don.
The one caveat with using it on appliances is that it is a dust magnet. 😕

Bar keepers friend every time
Brings the stuff up like new and best of all it doesn’t take the decals off.

WD 40 for me. Degreases and leaves a nice constant finish, no smears or finger marks.

Sainsburys use loads of baby oil in the kitchens for the commercial s/s stuff. We will very shortly be using it on a baby 😀

Johnson’s baby oil is also useful for strippers, to rub over certain bits while performing. They also like to get a male “victim” and rub it all over him, in his hair and on his clothes (underpants even). I’ve seen it 😉
Not that it happened to me personally, but I remember thinking how the ‘ell would I explain that to the missus? 🙂

Hi all
The best ive found is CHROMOL supplied originally by Leibherr when you buy one of there appliances but ive sourced it from germany direct saving a fortune compaired to leibherrs prices.
Mind you still sell at their prices 😛
And no oily greasy residues left
