Clear error e21

Can someone help? The job is a bosch WAK28261gb/11 error E21. Replaced worn brushes and tested motor (ok). Cant get error code to clear, starting with knob at 12 o’clock I’ve turnet knob to 6 o’clock, pressed rpm button then turned knob to 7 o’clock, held for 5 seconds and released, turn knob back to 12 o’clock but its not cleared. Is there a different reset for this model? Thanks for any help.

……or try unplugging the motor then carry out the usual 6 o’clock reset procedure. Plug the motor back in and repeat that procedure…..fingers crossed 😉

also from my experience you have to do the reset procedure in a methodical way

turn to 6 (wait 2 secs)
press and hold spin button (wait 2 secs)
turn knob to 7 (wait 2 secs)
now release spin speed button

at this point the start button might well start flashing which means success. turn machine off and on again and see if it works

have had other dealers say it can take several attempts to reset and I myself have had it take 2 or 3

Sorted now thanks, it was different, from 12 o’clock press and hold start button and turn left one click, release start button and turn off. Thats it.

yes there are a few different resets and no way of knowing which one does what

it quite a relief when it resets and you know the machine is going to work
