cold cycle

    hi i have an indresit dg6100 w it takes to long to complete its cycle i just checked it and the water is only cold not hot it shoud be 65c would i be right in thinking its the thermister .

    ive checked the element with a meter it was about 25 ohms is that about right ?

    So long as you have continuity it should be fine.

    What thermistor or stat is goosed, much harder to fathom usually. 😕

    IIRC, these have a resettable stat at the rear, attached to the underside of the base.
    Un plug appliance before going in search of it. When you find it, it may click if you press the pip in the middle of teh two terminals; indicating a succesful reactivation 😉

    ive tested the stat with a meter and its not showing anything and its not a resetable one

    Please try and keep it one thread……….

    Remaining possibilities are broken wiring where the wiring turns under the tub or timer not switching the element on.
