Cold fill hoses

Please can anyone tell me if the fill hoses on washing machines are generic or do I need the correct one for the machine, also are they different if the machine is cold fill only to the pipes on the hot and cold fill machine?

Generic on the whole, and the cold fill one’s are all the same Lynn.

Thanks Dave you really are a star, my new machine came today but with no hose and I’m keen to get it installed as I just don’t have the room for two in the kitchen so I will have to use the old hose until they send me another. I did well with the price as they knocked another £37.00 off for a mark on the door that wasn’t on the original damage report, making it only £149.66 ❗ 😀
No more duvet covers and sheets draped everywhere, wonderful :tup:
