They’ll have to incorporate a refrigeration system instead for use in summer. ๐

She who must be obeyed has been dabbling with various detergents & 30 deg washes recently but has decided she aint convinced & has returned to hotter progs ( so i’ve been told)
A hint of persistent odour noticed while ironing my work t shirts left her un convinced with cool washes ๐ฏ so my fault the environments going down the pan ๐ณ

I remain deeply unconvinced.
But, ever the pragmatist (part time cynic), the proof is in the proof as they say, the marketing is just spin and hype untl the proof bears it out.
Another “but” is that I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Indesit/Hotpoint have a machine soon that goes down to 15รลกC and that sports a “recycled” bunch of “stuff” in it. And it will, unsurprisingly, be heavily endorsed by Ariel and vice versa.
Just a hunch that should perhaps be in rumour mill. ๐

Cold washes, combined with extremely soft water in my area, means non-stop stinking washers for me all day ๐ฟ ๐ฟ ๐ฟ
I do the same speech everytime I’m at a washer!*
“There’s no beach in the detergents anymore and we ave really soft water round ere, so you gotta do some 60 degree washes to kill the bacteria…”
I think we should have a whip-round and get an advert ont telly, telling people to sod the enviroment, wash at 60!
—————————————————
*or if I’m fixing someones dryer/oven/dishwasher I get…“While ya ere, why’s me washa stink?”

KeymasterI just sell them stuff to clean the machines now and then sell them more when they keep doing it. You tell them, but they don’t listen so I think we may as well profit from the stupidity of people for not heeding the advice we give them.
