    History shows that whenever a large retailer or company were bought for very little money tend to fail within 5 to 10 years with huge mounting debts.

    You only have to look at MFI which was bought for £1, MG Rover bought for £10, Concorde bought for £1. I do not know of any companies that was bought for few quids that are successful.

    Let’s hope they will continue as we need their customers to call us for repair when their warranty runs out!

    The same guy who bought MFI bought Comet so dont expect them to be around much longer
