As I watch the tumbleweed drift on past…
Here’s a little something I rattled up this afternoon to peruse
Can we discuss it now? 😉

Its a pity the sixth paragraph in the ‘Environmental Issues in the spotlight’ box didn’t start with a large E, now that would have been brilliant subliminal advertising. 😉 8)
Will this newsletter be a general mail-out or just to registered WTA members?

Sorry Jim I was too busy chuckling at the last bit. 🙂
I didn’t really have an intent in mind at all on making this generally available or not but it is worthy of discussion methinks.

If it was to be sent out electronically then I’m all for letting anyone in the trade read it.

😆
It’s Latin, it’s used to typeset and sort the layout around, basically holding for the body of text you want to use.
I’d agree, put at least the first few out to all totally FOC to let them see what it’s all about. After the first we can take a view on where to go next but I expect it also depends on the value and quality of info in it.
Does anyone have a snippet they want to put in?
John’s going to do a little bit on the WEEE Directive next week for us and I have a few more little bits and bobs planned for the future already. It’s like, “heh, gimme a soapbox and I’ll sing like a canary”.
I’m still trying to work out how to use an “E”… 😆

As long as there are no comments about the Antiques Roadshow if I attend any of the events, :rolls: 😆
Looks fine to me. ( now about that bit about the WTA condoning the withholding of tech info) 😉

Actually you just struck on the idea that I had and was chatting to Lawrence about earlier. I tried to talk to Ade, but he’s in Wales amongst on them valleys.. nuff said.
The idea is that we (WTA hat on) piggy back the ISE/UKW stuff that’ going on and that whoever’s close from here pops along to represent the TA.
I’m assuming that there’s no issue with that from anyone?
Means a bit of time I know, but I think it’ll be worth it.

We need something for the New Year so we can boost up Sibson and also remind people of the roadshows so my thought was to play that card then and, hopefully,I’ll have a bit more time to write it more effectively. The idea being that it’s fresh in people’s minds just before we’re out and about.

Well as usual I ran it past John and, as usual, he tore me apart so, as usual, I’m going to rewrite it.
It’s the way of things and John has this outstanding knack of pointing out the totally obvious and annoyingly is all too often, right.
This is why we do drafts. 😉
I’ve not had too much from the South TBH Steve but then we’ve not really promoted it… yet. See above, John is a marketeer and, a damn good one. 😉
