I’m trying to track down the kit that enables you to connect a condensing tumble dryer direct to the drain (i.e. not using the in-built resevoir).

The model is a AEG T59800, and the manual states the part number I need is 125.122.510 – ‘installation kit for external condensate drain’ – but this doesn’t seem to exist at any of the on-line spares companies.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers,

1251225-00/7 should be what you want. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one promptly enough.

Thanks for the info Penguin45. I can’t see the part number listed but I’ll e-mail them tomorrow to check.

On a related note, having only just had the dryer delivered, the bulb that lights the drum blew on it’s first use – damaged in transit I guess. The manual quotes pn 112552000-5 but, once more, it doesn’t seem to exist on the web.

Although I can probably live without a bulb inside my tumble dryer (and since it’s probably hassle to claim on the warranty) I may tag one of these onto the order for the drain kit. Can I assume the format of the part number should be 1125520-00/5 and that UKWhiteGoods will have one?

    Cheers,

Format will be clearly understood by Dave – if he doesn’t have the parts to hand he’ll be able get them quickly.

    And if he can’t, they don’t exist 😀 .
