Our current 15+y.o tumble drier has finally given up the ghost bless its soul with not so much as a call out or replacement part during its lifetime!

Its currently situated in our lean to building so venting was never a problem. My wife however wants the next drier to be situated in the kitchen and as it will not fit against an external wall guess its going to be a condensor drier.

What sort should I go for with approx £250-300 budget? I want one with sensor facility and as we are a large family needs to be able to take a good load.

Sorry for the rather generic question and I have done searches but new machines are coming out all the time. Dont mind paying a bit extra if it comes with free extended warranty like the Siemens washing machine we bought last year

This may mean paying more than a little bit more, but ten years parts & labour plus a machine that is far superior to any Bosch/Siemens dryer. 8)

She’s a beauty……but probably a little bit more than I am willing to pay for a tumble drier….cracking deal on warranty though

    Hi WB,

Just remember when you put in the dryer that any dryer needs airflow, even a condenser dryer so, ensure that there is adequate air round it to draw. If you don’t do that you can suffer from overheating and external condensation issues on the cabinet or in front of it.

This is regardless of what the marketing dudes tell us. 😉

I can also attest to the fact that the ISE10 dryer is a superb bit of kit.

    K.
