KeymasterRight about when he reads this Del Boy (aka, Bryan) should be freaking out having just received an email with meeting details and a QR code on it. 🙂
I aim to please. 😆
So, here’s the deal…
Free booking in using an iPad, iPhone or any other iOS device.
Register here if you wanna try it: https://whitegoodsconference2012.qrickets.com/
Bryan was a test and not just because medical science would likely reject him, but he was the first meeting delegate registration that worked. So, I popped in his name, email and, voila, ticket with scannable code on it.
I can download the app, shows my events and works just peachy.
Registration one for booking people in a bit flaky, crashes on the scan for me. I might email the dudes and get them to fix it for iOS5 as I think that’s the problem but they’ll likely update it anyway.
Off to test it on the iPad…

Oh there’s some really cool sh1t going on with this. If you login a guest on one device it won’t let you log them in on another.
A few bugs but pretty good to be fair, for free!

This is probably not the site that you are looking for!
You attempted to reach whitegoodsconference2012.qrickets.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as http://www.qrickets.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of whitegoodsconference2012.qrickets.com. You should not proceed. This is what I get when I click on the link

Works fine for me but they do have an invalid SSL certificate, it’s out of date.
But that looks like a Firefox/IE nanny message that assumes you’re an idiot.

It checks certificate validation to try to stop spoofing. Kinda works.

Hi Bryan I think we are going to have to do it the old fashioned way for badges again ,but as we will have everyone that is attendings info beforehand I wonder if we can print them onto business card blanks that come on an A4 sheet for the printer.
