Is it just me or are Connect getting unreliable with deliveries? It has always taken 2 days to get goods this far north but now half the time it takes 3 days. I try to make sure I place orders before 1 pm but perhaps that is not early enough for them to send the goods the same day? I have a Zanussi bearing change to do today and I have run out of bearing kits. I had ordered more kits before this job came in but now I will have to postpone the job 🙁

I must admit, they’re OK for deliveries here at the moment, DHL seem to have pulled their finger out lately.
Do DHL deliver to you or is it passed to a 3rd party ?

No complaints with deliveries, I’ve ordered as late as 4pm and still received the next day. Is anyone still ordering from parts centre?.
I’ve noticed that they seem to be quite a bit more expensive than connect lately on quite a few items, plus they have there dreaded £5.50 delivery on top!!.

It varies, sometimes it is DHL, sometimes a firm called Pegasus. I used to have trouble with suppliers who used Lynx, as the Lynx van only came here on Tuesday and Thursday. This meant that if I ordered stuff on a Wednesday I would not get it until the following Tuesday. It would still be labelled “Next Day Delivery” though :rolls:

I am having the same trouble order parts and parcels do not arrive till couple of day later DHL delivery I thought because we were in WALES

Connect rang me this morning, the usual “courtesy call”. I complained that I’m still waiting for stuff I ordered on Monday. They said it was sent by UPS and were going to chase them and ring me back. So far, no phone call and no parcel 😡 (12.45 the UKW clock is STILL wrong!)

I think UPS have been recently bought over or amalgamated with another courier. I too had delays a couple of weeks back but seems ok now.

A bit off this topic, but Connect all the same. Just wanted a dispenser top for a Bosch washer, part number is 289674 £8.82 from BSH, thought I might add it to my connect order instead, luckily I checked the price…..£35.32! they laughingly quote £48.28 as the RRP!

Try £11.02 +VAT Mark, still nowhere near connects price though.

I know, £8.82 is the price I am paying inc discount.

Gotcha, so I know Connect are obviously 3rd party and want to make a bit but thats still a bit steep 👿

Would that be Lynx by any chance, Bryan, that’s who finally delivered it late Thursday afternoon?
