DPD arrived earlier than DHL normally would 😀 talking to the driver he should be here everyday at about the same time :tup: for DPD.

Well, we had a connect order arrive today, delivered by DPD. At least the driver had the common sense to leave the parcel in a safe place as I wasn’t there to sign for it.

Still waiting for Thursdays order to arrive -apparently DPD are supposed to deliver it – Fridays order delivered by DHL arrived today. DPD say they couldnt find address, DHL seem to manage o.k. The bloke at Connect says this is the excuse they give everytime for a non delivery and he doesnt think they will be using them much longer.

Not had a problem with DPD at all, however the last few days it’s been back with DHL 😕

Now it seems Masterpart are moving forward in the race to find the cheapest courier, and never mind the quality. Have just spent £2 in phone calls to 0871 numbers to find out that my latest parcel has been despatched to the wrong depot and will not arrive until tomorrow. They’re now using Home Delivery Network apparently. Used to be City Link who were excellent, then went to DPD – reliable but I’m at their 4/5pm slot. Now HDN. This may save Masterpart £1 per order but risks losing them a few of their customers I suspect. This delay will get passed on to my customers as I’ll now have to either work Saturday 🙁 , if they can re-arrange their schedules, or rearrange tomorrow’s jobs for next Wednesday. Not good, not good at all.

I spoke to someone at Masterpart yesterday chasing an order that was placed last Friday. They said they are hoping that management will see sense soon, as everyday they are dealing with constant complaints about late deliveries and parcels going missing.
We’ll see what happens!

Screwed up a whole planned Friday of calls.
There is no point trying to save money on deliveries if you are going to lose it through customers ordering from elsewhere. 😕Re: Connect changed courier?
Yeah I know this is the Connect thread but we too have had some grief from missing Masterpart orders,Infact we placed an order last week with Qualtex that would have gone to Masterpart….The money you save just ain’t worth the hassle!!

Yep, my order arrived today about midday. First time for ages I’ve gone to work on a Saturday afternoon but I’d have surely had some grief from customers if I hadn’t.
Hopefully, it’s just teething troubles with the new courier as MPT “sent it to the wrong depot” by their own admission. I’m just going to have to learn not to give customers any more assurances about when stuff’ll be done.

I placed an order with Connect on the 13th, shown as dispatched on the 14th today is the 18th still no sign of my delivery. What are they playing at!

think its dhl thats causing the probs with connect – ive lost count of failed deliveries or boxs missing .. dhl need to get their act together ..
last week we had 40 jobs on hold because of dhl …dont know what the prob is ..

I called Connect yet again this morning, and was told the box was returned to DHL card left. DHL are useless. Connect are no help and the girl on the phone did not give a jot about my late delivery. If this continues I will stop using Connect and take my business else where. 👿

Had two Hotpoint WMA 1603409 drum rear halves delivered by DHL (Masterpart) yesterday, both with transit damage. 😥
