ParticipantJust went to track today’s order to check it’s been sent and it says, “despatched via DPD”. Has always been DHL up til now. If I know anything this means 4.30pm instead of 10.30am 🙁 .

I have had DPD delivery from connect, hopless, the day the item was due the web site said undelivered returned to depot, the next day I asked the driver why I had not had the item the day before, he spoke very little English.
Connects prices are bad enough, now their delivey system has gone to the dogs.October 27, 2010 at 7:33 am #334117don

Mines changed to DPD, nightmare for me as I used to pick up my parcels from DHL depot about 5 minutes from where I live, have no idea when they will turn up now, no more pre booked 2 day calls for Repaircare from me anymore now 😈

Yes DPD here as well, DPD are a cheaper courier against DHL and Connect are still charging us the same rates for a reduced service !
Not very clever at all ! with late spares arrival this effects our performance as a company at no expense to Connect, what this tells me is that I need to be looking at other suppliers who can get the stock to us quickly and maybe at a lower cost for the stock items.

I didn’t think anyone could actually be worse than DHL 😯 . I sometimes have to wait a week for parcels from Connect. Sometimes it’s just someone in a car rather than a DHL van.

I used to get next day delivery via DHL but in the past few months it changed to 3/4 days.
Driver said they were instructed to leave the depot earlier in the morning so missed the main day delivery from the hub.
Ordered from Connect Monday morning, order with me 4.30pm Tuesday via DPD hope that’s a good sign.

We still have DHL delivering, not sure how long it will last though.DPD used to deliver for masterpart , and we never really had a problem with them. unlike the Home delivery network.

dhl always been good here . next day delivery was almost always next day, unless it was sent over the weekend. had a few issues with packages going on the wrong van when they moved over to the scanner but its all back running smoothly now the hub have the hang of it
and unless our regular driver was ill/holidays, if he had us on his list he’d always get to us by about 11/11:30…

Well parcel turned up this afternoon while I was out so I guess it must have been the usual guy who delivers Masterpart orders cause he left it in the usual place but didn’t put a card through the door. Not so bad really, at least I know now it’ll be around 4.30. No more next day jobs though. DHL were great for a while when they had the same driver for a long period but he left recently (got better pay elsewhere) and it’s been chop and change drivers every month or so, which meant re-education every time.
The drivers who turn up in cars (“DHL@Home”) are self-employed sub-contractors who earn a pittance. Mate of mine tried it for a week or two, 95p per signed for parcel – he didn’t manage to make any money at all what with all the people being out and him having to call back two or three times.
